Congratulations to the Clarkston Community Festival Committee on a successful Clarkston Community Festival Kickoff this past Sunday. More than 100 community members, Clarkston residents, and families attended the Community Festival Kickoff, which included international food, dancing, music, and games at Milam Park.
Without the hard work and resources that so many local groups and businesses contributed, this event could not have become a reality. CDF would also like to thank the City of Clarkston for supporting the Festival Committee and approving the use of the pavilion at Milam Park. The Kickoff was a snapshot of an expanded Clarkston Community Festival, projected to be held in 2014 and was an opportunity for attendees to sign up to serve on committees to help plan the 2014 event.
