Parents as Teachers National Center Research and Evaluation Director visits CDF

On January 26, Karen Guskin, Parents as Teachers National Center Research and Evaluation Director, visited Atlanta to participate in a meeting held at Georgia State as part of the SafeCare-Parents as Teachers research project, funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation.

While she was in Atlanta, Karen wanted to visit a PAT program participating in the federal Maternal and Infant Early Childhood Home Visiting program (MIECHV).  January 27, CDF  invited Karen to visit the CDF PAT program.  She enjoyed a lunch prepared by a local restaurant and met Jeremy Lewis, Executive Director, other members of the CDF staff, and several parents.

Karen told the CDF staff that she enjoyed meeting parent educators and the families, and that she especially enjoyed holding an infant while the PAT mom had her lunch!
