Thank you to each and every one of you who attended our Spring Open House celebrating our partnership with the Somali American Community Center! Over 80 guests attended the event on March 31st and learned about the activities of both of our organizations and ways we are partnering. We were pleased to welcome residents who read about the event and wanted to learn more about what CDF and the Somali American Community Center do in the community. We were also please to greet local Clarkston families, city council members, as well as long time friends and colleagues.
All guests enjoyed fruit, veggies and dip, samosas, hummus, desserts made by an Iraqi friend, and, most importantly, socializing with one another! Below are some pics highlighting the event!
