CDF is proud to announce that Sumaya Karimi has been awarded the Outstanding Adjunct award by the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Her achievements will be recognized tonight at the annual Public Health in Action reception.

Sumaya has organized and facilitated her Community Transformation Course in collaboration with Rollins School of Public Health for several years. Her engagement with Clarkston community members and Emory students who have taken the course has informed and guided dozens of new community leaders, and CDF is honored to have her as a team member in this vital work.

We celebrate and acknowledge Sumaya’s contribution to supporting community members of Clarkston, and the positive influence she has had in all the lives she has touched.
