“All About Afghanistan” was the topic of a presentation to the Clarkston Early Learning Network at the March 15 meeting, held at the Clarkston Library. Rahim Gul told the group about his family’s journey to Clarkston. We also learned that he was an agronomist in his country. He shared about Afghanistan’s population, history, and culture.
Rahim works for the New American Pathways through Americorps; he is a parent of a student at Indian Creek Elementary School, and has participated in meetings and the planning of the new Education Science Community Garden, a partnership between Indian Creek Elementary School, the families, and CDF Action, funded in part by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation.
CDF and the CELN members thank Rahim for sharing his story and for his contributions of time and talent to the Clarkston community.
