A group of like-minded youth-serving organizations gathered a year ago to nominate students for scholarships for the Posse Foundation. Since then, the group has discussed other efforts to serve high-school and college-aged students as they make education and career decisions. With its broadened focus, the group took the name 4C: Clarkston College Career Coalition.
4C plans to nominate rising high school seniors for the Posse Foundation Scholars program. The group will also host a “lunch and learn” for nominees. In addition to Posse nominations, the group plans to work with the youth served by member organizations to determine other projects needed.
The following organizations are part of the Coalition: Because We Care, CDF, Clarkston City Council, Clarkston Community Center, Clarkston First Baptist Church, Clarkston High School, CPACS, Georgia Perimeter College, International Rescue Committee, Spelman College and Women Watch Africa, Other youth-serving organizations are welcome to join!
