The Clarkston Early Learning Network was
formed in 2013 to support the Clarkston
library, promote the importance of literacy
and the early learning years, and collaborate to create and sustain early learning programs and experiences for all Clarkston children.

In 2019, Network members approached the
City Council to become an Advisory
Committee or Task Force. The City passed a
resolution in 2020 to create the Task Force
appointing 20 members.

Members include families, childcare experts, City Council staff, and members; CDF Action was appointed as the facilitator.
