Access to social and financial capital is one of the biggest issues that marginalized face. They have big dreams, solid ideas, and a core determination that sets them up for success. However, having the social network that we know impacts success can be a challenge. Start:ME Clarkston works to help aspiring entrepreneurs connect to one another and key mentors while working through critical aspects and phases of a business start up. Since 2013, the program has given 30 entrepreneurs opportunities to enhance their businesses and the great business community in Clarkston.
