On World Refugee Day in Georgia, we gather to raise awareness about issues affecting refugees here in Atlanta and across the state, celebrate the contributions of new Americans in our communities, and foster collaboration. Join us to have fun and celebrate refugees on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Clarkston Community Center from 1:00 – 3:30 pm!

Decoration & Set up:
- Start time: 11:30 am
- Minimum age: 15 years
- May require some light lifting & moving boxes
- Maximum number of volunteers: 4
Staffing Book Sale Table & Community Art Project:
- Start time: 12:30 until 4:00 pm (includes set-up & tear down)
- Maximum number of volunteers: 2
Stage Set-Up & Tear-down:
- Start set-up: 11:30 am; tear down 3:30 pm
- Must be able to do heavy lifting
- Maximum number of volunteers: 2 for both times
Posting & Removing Directional Signs in Community:
- Start posting: 11:00 am; removing 3:00 pm
- Maximum number of volunteer: 2 for both times
Information Booth Set-up:
- Start set-up: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm; tear down 3:00 -3:45 pm
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Requires moving tables & chairs to the event site & back to the CCC building
- Maximum number of volunteers: 4
